What is the issue you’re having?

Issue I am having is I cannot play in most servers especially popular servers that has 150-300+ players. I get hitches and lag stutters which makes the game not very fun to play or not playable at all. I have posted my PC specs above. If anyone knows of any optimization or has the same/similar pc specs as me and can play in FiveM popular and big servers without any issues please share and help me on how to achieve.

What are you trying to do?

Get the game running smoothly with no lag and hitches. Right now I struggle to play in popular servers that has 150-300 players.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

  • Upgraded RAM to 12GB
  • Windows 10 tweaks
  • Set FiveM to high performance and high priority
  • GTA5/FiveM in-game graphic settings set to normal and lowered extended texture budget.

What server did you get this issue on?

NoPixel, ThuglifeRP, BlueBirdRP - any server that is popular or have a player base of 150-300 players. Basically every server.

Hello…

The best option that you can do is completely reinstall and clear your cashe often, Your FiveM cashe is all of your saved files from those servers, clearing them will help.

Though Big Servers have many resources, You might be loading more then your computer can handle, The best thing that you can try out is, going to the main menu on the FiveM Client, going to settings, and go to Display Assets when download in-game streamed assets this will show you in the bottom right how much you are downloading, Servers with assets over 1,000 will lag your computer, You just haft to wait untill you download all of the assets.
