fivem requires a clean copy of GTA5 remove your mods and see if it continues.

yea 8gigs of RAM is not enough in these days, but also try to find a server which doesnt have any resources and try there, in many cases the resources are the asnwer to FPS drops

To me this seems like a internet issue. Please use this and send a screenshot of the results.

This also can be a server issue. Look at the bottom right when the lag ensues. If it is popping up with a box saying it’s delayed. Send us a screenshot of the lag and we can decide if it is a script causing it. Also if we could be notified if either you or your friend are using a custom player model or if you are occupying a custom car model. It may be your client rendering the foreign model that is causing the lag.

well Hazy, i made test on 2different PC, 8Gigs DDR3 ( current one ) and 16Gigs DDR3, the 16gigs DDR3 had no issue at all, the only moment i had freeze was when i got resource error " Es_Object took -16ms ( or -64FPS ), both PC were connected to Ethernet Cable.

My second system plays it fine with 8GB of DDR3 so it may not be a memory thing… although its possible that you got way to many things running at once.

Im sorry but that is not fast internet at all! A stable connections needs around 50mbps download. Your upload should be fine. I am just recommending maybe a upgrade! I have 100mbps download and love it! Only $110 a month! Also that has 11 upload! I recommend a upgrade if you are serious about online gaming in general!

well, i have played on 40MBs and that was very fine, in 98% of games i played i had ping of 25, which is VERY GOOD, and when got to current PC with much better Network Card, with 111MBs downloading, i have 18ms, so there wasn’t much of difference, and also Internet only takes part when the game downloads content from Cloud, when internet drops there might be de-sync of some FPS drops cause that there is no content that its needed

So. You use internet all the time while playing games that are mutliplayer. Also the more players on the server the better the internet you need as your internet is connecting to the server and all the players trying to locate where each player is, what their doing and making sure they are not ahead of your internet in terms of speed.
