Having the same problem, nothing helps. Best launcher ever, hundreds of posts about crashing and 0 working solutions from devs.

This isn’t a game issue whatsoever, it’s a problem with GPU/GPU drivers. There’s no way whatsoever that a programming error should lead to this kind of crash, and most importantly, for hundreds of thousands of people - they are not getting this error.

Please search for DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED on Google to find a number of tips (downgrading GPU drivers to e.g. NVIDIA 416 series, reducing core clock, disabling TDR), or report this issue to your GPU driver vendor so they can add a workaround to resolve it.

In addition, 8 GB RAM might be too little to play on certain servers that aren’t optimized well - to play on typical servers with hundreds of resources, 16 GB of memory is recommended. It may also help to extend the page file size in Windows since sometimes it won’t expand the page file fast enough.

using an older driver version doesn’t work, also it always worked up until a few days ago with 8 GB ram, there isn’t any other game that has this same issue, so i highly doubt it is an issue from my system.

It 100% is a GPU driver crash. FiveM itself isn’t causing this.

Just because other games work, doesn’t mean that your driver is fine. GPU vendors constantly fix bugs for specific games (check NVIDIA driver changelog)

where can you see if its a driver crash, and how could i fix this if it is indeed a driver crash

this pops up at the logs from windows: A problem with the virtual memory was found during the check. The following programs used the most virtual memory: FiveM_GTAProcess.exe (2944) used 5843177472 bytes, FiveM_ChromeBrowser (8944) used 845172736 bytes, and FiveM_ChromeBrowser (2552) used 239218688 bytes.

bump.

How much memory does your Pc use before opening FiveM?

It says it uses 30-35% at the task manager

Again, there is no solution for this from FiveM. You must follow this post

If you tried all of those suggestions and it still doesn’t work, follow the suggestion of contacting your GPU vendor.

FiveM CANNOT fix this.

Closing because OP has been given all support necessary, despite his issue not being resolved.

The issue does not stem from something that FiveM can fix nor are there more suggestions than those mentioned.
