FiveM issues (players.json) rate limiting still not functional

People are still able to DDOs this endpoint and cause CPU usage to rise when it is being DDOsed when this happens the server will then crash along with this RDP goes down and the whole server basically goes down. We use OVH which detects we are under attack then a few minutes later says it has ended when actually it’s still on-going. I’m aware there was a rate-limiting fix for this but that at the moment does not seem functional.

To note: when the server isn’t running everything else is fine and we no longer experience any high network usage so it’s clearly an exploit within FiveM.

Also, meanwhile we were threatened that we’d have to pay £100 or the server would be down for a week as a sort of shitty ransomware stunt. As well their words was there is a FiveM exploit you can do to take down servers easily.

The OS is Windows.

Provide a dump?

That’s… not something the server code can protect against, nor is it an ‘exploit’ in FiveM? Literally means your network connection gets wrecked due to ‘whatever’ attack, which could happen against any service at all.

Not a bug.

Literally.
