What is the issue you’re having?

Hello,

I am facing a problem while installing FiveM.

During the update process, the download either gets stuck at 0.0 MB/s or stops midway. After that, I get this error:

“Could not find component cache storage file (components.json)”

Sometimes FiveM also closes automatically during update.

I have tried multiple times but the issue keeps repeating.

Please help me fix this issue

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

  • Reinstalled FiveM multiple times
  • Deleted cache and full FiveM folder
  • Used ProtonVPN (Netherlands/Germany)
  • Changed DNS (8.8.8.8 / 1.1.1.1)
  • Restarted PC

Still facing the same issue.
