FiveM gets to "Analysing game data" on the loading window, and then doesn't load FiveM/GTA V

What is the issue you’re having?

FiveM gets to “Analysing game data” on the loading window, and then doesn’t load FiveM/GTA V.
GTA is a fresh install from Steam and loads up fine independantly from the Rockstar Launcher/Steam.
RedM works fine on my system.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

  • Restarting PC.
  • Reinstalling FiveM.
  • Placing FiveM inside the GTA V folder with the GTAV.exe & running from there.
  • Running with Administrator on FiveM (Doesn’t work)
  • Running with Administrator on GTAV.exe
  • Deleteing Cache.

What server did you get this issue on?

Can’t even get into FiveM to select a server.

This is frequently caused by NVIDIA Game filters being enabled. Try going into the NVIDIA App and turning them off from the settings menu

Alternatively, you can update your drivers, which I think automatically disables the filters.

I have tried this, and it didn’t change anything. Thank you for the suggestion though. :slightly_smiling_face:

The error in the crash dump seems to be related to Rockstar Games Launcher

MainThrd/ ^3ROS/MTL still hasn't cleared launch (waited 40 seconds) - if this ends up timing out, please solve this!
[ 148453] [ ROSLauncher] 45572/ Error: Timed out while waiting for the Rockstar Games Launcher (ROS/MTL).
[ 148453] [ ROSLauncher] 45572/ Please check your system for third-party software (antivirus, etc.) that might be interfering with the 'embedded' RGL launching the game.

Can you try reinstalling RGL? Or closing everything with an overlay that’s running on your PC - Steam, Discord, Medal, MSI Afterburner, Rivatuner, OBS, etc.

Reinstalled RGL and closed anything that makes an overlay. No change.

I did however move GTA to another drive, and tried to run it again. It crashed. Here’s the report:

Hmm the new crash is

Still related to RGL but I’m not sure what could be causing it. I’ll try asking around.

Did you ever load into GTA:O (without FiveM) on your current install? If not, do so at least once, let it load into a session all the way - usually fixes RGL-related issues in my experience

Yes, GTA online works fine.

So speaking to some friends of mine, there should be a GTA 5 folder in the Rockstar Games folder at user>AppData>Local>Rockstar Games
There doesn’t appear to be one for me, anyone know what I can do to have my game or RGL to put one in there?

Load into GTA:O itself without FiveM at least once, should fix that

It wasn’t doing that for some reason when I opened GTA:O, BUT I put a folder inside user>AppData>Local>Rockstar Games called “GTA 5” and it loaded FiveM.

Huh, wouldn’t expect that to work, but alas lol
