Important parts
What is the issue you’re having?
-
So approximately a week ago my FiveM started to force close the application without any error/crash message.
-
I only had a total of 3 error/crash messages after installing FiveM again. (Keeping the same CitizenFX folder in the %Appdata%/roaming). After these error messages appeared, FiveM proceeds to resume with the force closing of the application without an error message, without a crash dump, and no other information.
-
The scenario that happened the most is that my screen flashes white 2 times and I lose all control of the game, my keyboard and mouse would not respond in-game, resulting in the game to force close without an error message.
-
Another scenario is that my screen turns black for a second and when it goes back to “working again” the game is gone and isn’t appearing in Task Manager either.
Both scenarios also end with Discord in Econo Mode in the Task Manager (leaf icon) which results in Discord not working either.
This issue is only happening with FiveM, any other games run fine.
What are you trying to do?
- I am trying to fix my game so that I am able to play again without the application force closing itself.
What have you tried already to fix the issue?
-
Deleted GPU-Cache
-
Deleted FiveM-Cache
-
Deleted NUI-Cache
-
Checked GTA5 file integrity [Steam]
-
Allowed it through the anti-virus
-
Installed New GPU-Drivers
-
Reverted to older GPU-Drivers
-
Changed and Disabled unused audio devices
-
CHKDSK Run in Command Prompt
-
SFC /scannow run in Command Prompt

-

What did you do to get this issue?
- I do not know what caused the issue.
What server did you get this issue on? Be specific and name some, ‘all of them’ by itself isn’t useful!
- The issue persists on every server, even the FiveM test server.
Additional comments
I have been trying to fix this for over a week now and I have searched the forums and the cause of these issues everywhere.
