What have you tried already to fix the issue?
Yes I’ve tried:
Full FiveM & GTA V reinstalls (both pc)
Clearing cache, logs, and registry entries (both pc)
Logging out of Rockstar, Steam, Discord, and clearing all linked data
I’m using a completely different PC and network from my friend

This is a stupid, unwanted update that the FiveM team just made, probably serving Rockstar interest so that we must buy new GTA licenses.
Now you can no longer share the same license between multiple PCs at the same time.
I did this for 5 years without any issues (except the identifiers being overwritten on all PCs by whichever PC opened FiveM last), and it was convenient for developing and testing.
I also shared the same GTA copy with my family, as it makes 0 sense that we were forced to buy 1 copy for each one of us, individually. Games in the past were purchased only once and shared with the whole family and friends.
Now in 2025 I have to buy the game twice just for myself to test it using two computers.
It’s OK, I am gonna buy a CD key from the cheapest possible source I can find, there’s no way I am paying it full price.
