To add to this I’ve tried to regedit adding TdrLevel to remove that but did not work. Also on the off chance my Client did decide to load the Graphics would be garbage, I only have 1 GPU and it’s still “new” less than year, and runs everything else fine, so fix your shiz FiveM.

I think it has something to do with the most recent FiveM update as it was working just last night for me. I believe it has something to do with from the update changelogs, given its a graphical issue.

Just switched from Canary to Stable version, RTX 2060 Super with 457.09 drivers, it’s working now.

edit 1h later: not working again

Same issue here, I crash as soon as the server is finished loading. RTX
2080

Click “Shift + Enter” before going to enter a server and uncheck “Use Effect” before loading into a server, assuming you have NVE Installed. @isVak @Kable.lua @Beastly_Gaming @Hunter_S

I’ll give this a try.

FRICK YOU FIVEM FIX YOU SHIZ… For everyone wondering this is an ENB error, I unchecked Use Effect and it still crashed, removing ENB and hence forth NVE as well fixes it. Screw you FiveM for breaking this. ;-; I’m so sad I loved NVE. Hopefully they can fix it in a new update soon :smiley:

You should put “[Solved] DXGI Error Device Removed” in the title for people who are having issues with this :slight_smile: Glad you got it fixed!
@Beastly_Gaming

How do I uninstall ENB?

Yeah, let’s be mad at us for some unforeseen and not reproducible crash with a closed-source (i.e. we can’t investigate any issues with it, fix it, or ship a working version ourselves) third-party mod (ENBSeries) that for obvious reasons is not part of the standard testing suite.

Even if it were, it works fine for many people, too, including me just dragging in ENBSeries’ DLL and it works fine, so something has to be up for you folks.

Note that said commit above was to fix ‘ENBSeries’ not loading after an earlier change.

No you are blind, look around the forums and see how many people have this issue, I can reproduce it by install ENB and NVE/NVR any visuals mod and crash my client upon loading into a server, singleplayer it loads with washed out garbage graphics. Any visuals mod is closed-source, that’s on FiveM to work out. It worked before so why would it not work now, because FiveM changed something during updates that broke it. Modding is FiveM’s whole sales pitch, why would they not try to fix this or give a care?, if that’s the case, take down the whole project, it’s not worth keeping around if they’ve deviated from their original goals of making a modding platform for everyone to enjoy.

I find that hard to believe, a lot of people I’ve talked to lately in the Server I’m in say they either disabled “Use Effect” or had to remove ENBSeries entirely to even load.

No idea I never said “fix” ENBSeries not loading, I said FiveM crashes. It’s not ENB’s fault here, it’s a FiveM error relating to the Graphics. It’s suppose to be an error for the GPU not responding and FiveM has been known to have this issue, it detects your GPU not responding fast enough so it crashes as if the GPU has locked up, but in reality it’s just FiveM not giving the GPU enough time. It’s not just FiveM, any game on Frostbyte does this as well.

IsolateV, remove these files or move them to a ‘disabled’ folder somewhere;

d3d11.dll
d3dcompiler_46e.dll

And it should prevent ENB from starting.

Cool, I can’t though, so yeah?

Oh?

Here’s one already that isn’t.

Maybe because it can’t be fixed if it doesn’t reproduce?

Nor did I say that was your issue but OK?

lol since you’re so smart why don’t you fix it yourself then
