What did you do to get this issue? I didn’t do anything
What server did you get this issue on? On all servers (I play on server really optimized : Extinction for example)

If an issue with starting:
Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? Yes

I tried to :

  • Reinstall GTA 5
  • Reinstall FiveM
  • Disable Nvidia Hight Definition Audio
  • Put my graphics to very low
  • Search any malwares in my laptop
  • Disable voice chat

My configuration :
Acer Preadator laptop :

  • I7-8750h
  • 1060 6Gb
  • 16 Gb RAM (2x8)

Explanation of the problem:
Often when I’m playing I get FPS drops and sound bugs at the same time for no reason.

You have something hogging your resources, try using Razer Cortex to free them up.
As another potential cause, monitor your CPU and GPU temperature - if it’s too high (80+ Celcius is considered that, usually) clean your PC of dust and change thermal compound.

My temp are very high for me. But on the laptops, people told me it was “normal”. Is that true?
My CPU max is between 92 and 94°C
And my GPU is between 87 and 89°C
So…

well 94ºC is not that normal but a little bit over expected 85/90ºC

At 90+ the CPU starts getting throttled, which leads to those issues. Figure something out to bring those temps down somewhat to fix your issue. I’m almost sure it’s caused by overheating.

You need to fix your resources and hitches in order to increase client FPS. Try using Profiler method to check which resource is giving problem.
