What is the issue you’re having?
FiveM doesn’t want to connect to my Discord account
What are you trying to do?
I’m trying to connect FiveM to my Discord account.
What have you tried already to fix the issue?
I looked through many fixes on YouTube, and other forums too, but none of them worked for me. I reinstalled both FiveM AND Discord too, but Discord is not wanting me to connect to FiveM. I deleted both Discord’s AND FiveM’s caches, but it didn’t work.
Additional comments
My Discord is currently not connected to a FiveM account. I even removed every single connection within my Discord account, but the FiveM connection pop-up doesn’t want to pop-up.(It probably could be fixed if i could get the FiveM Discord API’s connection link, and if i have that, i could connect FiveM to my Discord, but that’s just my hypothesis)
Hello, this is a friendly reminder because this is your first time creating a topic (or it has been a while since your last topic) in this category.

As you may have noticed, it is a process that occurs automatically as soon as you connect to FiveM. To solve it I have always opened my computer’s activity manager and forcibly closed both discord, steam (or in your case epic games) and fivem. After that I restarted the PC, opened Steam, Discord and FiveM respectively
This is not a reliable solution. Might work for some but i cant make it work. Why is there no button in settings on FiveM to link Discord account ? or support for FiveM to be shown on Discord so you can link it that way ? Need more dev support on this issue so we can solve it once and for all.
Are you running your Discord as admin? I was. (I was having this issue with RedM, but RedM requires FiveM connection) Closed RedM. Closed Discord. Turned off “Run this program as an administrator” in compatibility settings for Discord. restarted Discord. Restarted RedM. And magically the authorization window for FiveM popped up in Discord. If you don’t have that option selected, but Discord is prompting you to allow it to run as admin, then it’s coming from somewhere. Possibly UAC settings somewhere.
I’m assuming this is because FiveM/RedM, not being able to run with elevated permissions, didn’t have permission to prompt Discord, which was running as as admin, to authorize.
