What is the issue you’re having?
I’m unable to edit clips in the Rockstar Editor (Replay Editor). Whenever I attempt to preview or edit a clip, the game either goes into an infinite loading screen or crashes. I asked my friend to try recording a clip on the same server and check if he could enter the editor. He had no trouble editing the clip, so I doubt it’s an issue with the server I’m playing on.

What are you trying to do?

What have you tried already to fix the issue?
I have reinstalled everything. FiveM, GTA 5, tried recording with and without NVE (same result), verified game files. Basically anything I could think of.

What did you do to get this issue?
I recorded a clip on any FiveM server and tried to edit it in Replay Editor.

What server did you get this issue on? Be specific and name some, ‘all of them’ by itself isn’t useful!
The issue is in Rockstar Editor/Replay Editor. I have tried recording on the server I play on, and a couple different public servers. All with the same result.

Please be specific as to the servers on which you’re experiencing this.

I have tried on these servers:

  • Genesis Roleplay
  • Genesis Roleplay [Video Server]
  • Impulse99 Freeroam

The issue doesn’t lie with the server, but with me. My friend has had no trouble editing a clip on the same servers.

Ah, you’re likely hitting the issue of having ‘deleted cache’ since recording a clip so the clip references removed assets.

I thought it was going to be the other kind of issue (unloading/reloading).

So how do I go about fixing this issue? Deleted cache seems unlikely, as I have reinstalled everything.

Which in return would have cleared your cache?

Sure, reinstalling my game also clears my cache. But the clips I have recorded, have been recorded after reinstalling.

Is it already fixed? because i have the same problem with rockstar editor crashing
