FiveM crashes on startup (adhesive.dll) – persists after clean reinstall

What is the issue you’re having?

Hello FiveM Support Team,

I am experiencing a consistent crash when launching the FiveM application.

Problem description:
FiveM crashes immediately on startup, before the UI or server list appears. The application closes during early initialization.

How to reproduce the issue:

  1. Start Windows normally
  2. Launch the FiveM application
  3. FiveM crashes during startup, before the main UI loads

Observed behavior:

  • FiveM crashes during early initialization
  • Crash logs indicate an issue related to adhesive.dll
  • The crash happens before any server interaction
  • No scripts, resources, or servers are involved

Clean installation already performed:
I have performed a clean reinstall of GTA V (fresh installation, no mods or additional files) as well as a clean reinstall of FiveM.
Despite this, the issue still occurs consistently.

Temporary workaround and its limitation:
Deleting adhesive.dll allows FiveM to start and reach the UI.
However, when using this workaround, it is not possible to join any servers, making FiveM unusable.
I understand this file is required for proper integrity and security checks, so this is not a viable solution.

Expected behavior:
FiveM should start normally and allow joining servers with all original files intact, including adhesive.dll.
