Not really, one day it just started working. For the Rockstar Editor to work properly in a FiveM server, you need a highly optimized server—no custom clothing or too many poorly made MLOs.

I suggest (high success rate):

  1. Clip the footage on the server,
  2. Press F8 and type quit,
  3. Reopen FiveM and go to the Replay Editor,
  4. Create a project and start editing,
  5. Save the project, then press F8 and type quit,
  6. Open FiveM again, go to the Replay Editor, and select the project you worked on (DON’T EDIT IT—JUST SELECT IT!),
  7. Start exporting it and hope it doesn’t crash. (This works for me.)
