FiveM Crash "queen-jersey-india" (GTA5_b3258.exe!sub_14133163C (0x37)) - RockStar Editor

What is the issue you’re having?

I’m experiencing a consistent crash when trying to load a clip in Rockstar Editor. No matter which method I use, the game crashes every time.

I’ve tried the following:

  • Loading the Rockstar Editor through FiveM’s pause menu
  • Using the Replay Editor
  • Accessing the Rockstar Editor directly from the main menu

None of these methods work, and I constantly get an error.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

  • Verified GTA V files through Rockstar Launcher
  • Cleared FiveM cache
  • Disabled all mods/scripts
  • Tried running FiveM as Administrator (cant ofc)
  • Tried running FiveM in windows 8 compatible mode
  • Updated GPU drivers
  • Changed power consumption on control panel (Nvidia and windows)
  • Disabeld one-sync on server
  • Turned off VPN

What server did you get this issue on?

DDV-Test (play.unibit-slo.si)

Something to do with some custom asset not being loaded properly, I wouldn’t know how to fix that though. R* editor is very picky when it wants to work sadly

Yes I tought that mby is server or assets so I turned all custom assets + MLOs off but sadly didnt help.

I also tried to connect on some random server with diffrent game build (lower) and then deleted the cache and tried rockstar editor (replay mode) but was same error.

I honestly dont know what could be wrong. Only thing left is to reinstall windows completly

Having the same issue right now.

Same error code? Would you mind telling me which server did you play and what custom assets is using?

Getting the same crash code

If you change your build to 3059 when using rockstar editor, it shows what stream file that crashes. For me it was the NTeam mlo’s that made it not work. Removing them made it work

Hello,

Thank you very much for feedback!
I will try your solution and instead of disabling specific MLO I will disable all of them (just to be sure).

I will update if this is 100% fix.

Did you figure out a fix? I am having the same crash information.

Sorry, I couldn’t find the proper fix, R* Editor in FiveM is extreamly sensitive. One random server restart it started working (There were no changes what so ever). But after some editing some new error showed up while I was trying to export video.

Hey y’all, I’m getting this error but it’s in really odd circumstances.

FiveM will let me edit a clip in rockstar editor. Whenever I’m done or if I back out and try to open a new one, I crash with this error. Any ideas?

Same issue here :frowning:

Did you manage to solve the problem? I just have the same thing.

Not really, one day it just started working. For the Rockstar Editor to work properly in a FiveM server, you need a highly optimized server—no custom clothing or too many poorly made MLOs.

I suggest (high success rate):

  1. Clip the footage on the server,
  2. Press F8 and type quit,
  3. Reopen FiveM and go to the Replay Editor,
  4. Create a project and start editing,
  5. Save the project, then press F8 and type quit,
  6. Open FiveM again, go to the Replay Editor, and select the project you worked on (DON’T EDIT IT—JUST SELECT IT!),
  7. Start exporting it and hope it doesn’t crash. (This works for me.)
