FiveM Chromium Subprocess

What is the issue you’re having?

The Chromium Subprocess is using 6-7 GB of VRAM from my GPU for no reason, causing my FPS to drop from 150 to 20.

Any clues?

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

Restarting FiveM - OBVIOUSLY - Didnt help
Freshly Installed FiveM - Helped for a While, atleast it felt like it.

What server did you get this issue on?

Rising Sun Roleplay

Windows version

Windows 11 24H2 26100.6584

System specifications

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D 16-Core Processor (4.20 GHz)
3070 TI
64GB Ram,

Antivirus software

Shouldnt Matter, FiveM is excluded, alswell as GTA

Additional comments

i Tried to figure out, what the Subprocess does, but i was unsuccesful to find it out. Tryind to Pinopint the High Usage, makes no sense IMO.

Does this happen on any other servers? If you haven’t tried, do - the subprocesses are used differently by different servers, so you need to figure out what the cause is

Hey, i will try to test it on a freeroam SRV today or later on, i have a fefeling its a Skript das plays Custom sounds in large quantitys… but im uncertain. ill also test it on a freeroam server, if its better.

Ill figure this out

Cheers

Maybe, it’s not meant to take that much RAM though for sure. Check and see what the numbers are across several servers, definitely including the Cfx.re Test one as well
