FiveM Chromium Subprocess

Fivem Chromium subprocess is not in my sound mixer. How do I add this back?

So far I cleared cache, reinstalled fivem

I was there 1 day next day its gone and I cannot hear certain noises in the game ie seatbelt clicks, radio clicks, fueling, radar sounds etc.

I’ve been dealing with this issue for over a year. And it never occurred to me to simply hit ‘Reset’ on ‘Reset sound devices and volumes for all apps to the recommended defaults’ - This is an option in Windows 11. I cannot comment for Windows 10 or older operating systems. I hit ‘Reset’ at the bottom of the Volume Mixer page, hit a button that usually triggers a Chromium Process sound such as our police radar, and ‘FiveM Chromium Subprocess’ suddenly returned in the mixer! Hopefully this helps you all as I know how annoying it is!

This didnt work for me and I have windows 11. Is there any other solutions you know of?

I have problem with my FiveM Chromium Subprocess, I see it in my volume mixer but im not allowed to adjust it and it automaticly to the wrong output. Someone who have a fix?

Try changing priority in task manager to high then clicking into your fivem then check mixer it should show

Had this issue, in Windows 10. Went into task manager and set it to high priority and It’s fixed!
