Could anyone tell me what is going on?
I have registered a brand new key from keymaster with my public IP and made sure that is was in the server.cfg file correctly.

Hey, all of this indicates that the IP you entered in the keymaster is not correct. Assuming you dont have a double-NAT network (google what that is if unsure), you’ll need to go to any IP-checking site (such as this: https://whatismyipaddress.com/) and ensure it’s input correctly. You may also have a dynamic IP - in that case, you’ll need to request it be made static by the ISP (there are bandaid fixes for that but I dont know any that work reliably well)
Thank you very much for answering. I might have a dynamic IP since it is residential. No worries, I finally decided to rent a server again. I was trying to host a server locally because there are so many gaming server providers that I have used and not working very well. Do you have any recommendation by any chance? I have now already tried zap-hosting, google cloud, vultr, and azure etc…
Zap-hosting is the recommended provider for FiveM servers, so I suggest you start with that. I am not that into servers myself so I dont really have any recommendations besides that, sorry
Your Running windows, you might have forgotten the following When Running that as your own server from your PC you need to make sure of this…
On Your Router:
Go into Your Router, find that PC make sure in your Router it always Gives the Same Static IP every time…
Go into Your Router, find Your Port Redirect, Allow Port 30120 to Connect to the IP Address of that Computer Directly and Nowhere else… ** If ESX or Eco Sever - Also Add Port Connection to Port 3306 as well so the DB will allow External Access if you choose to do Sonora Cad or something of the likeness
On Your PC
Go to Your Windows Defender Firewall Advanced
Click on “Advanced Settings” in the list on the Left of the Window that popped up…
Now inside “Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security” Click on the Following
A. Inbound Rules
B. Then on the List to the Left Click on “New Rule” ((Wait for it))
C. Then on the New Window click on Port
D. Then Add port: Select Type TCP
E. Then Specific Port: 30120
F. Then Click on Allow the Connection
G. Then leave the Option’s Clicked… Domain, Private & Public
H. Now name your Connection to whatever you would like so you will remember it…
If you are Running an ESX or Eco Server - then you will also have to Add a Rule for Port 3306 as well
** Now Repeat it on the “OutBound Rules” as well… so it can talk In & Out Bound… **
Please Note: If you want Your server to Appear on FiveM’s Server List you will Also have to Open Port: 3110 → that will allow it to Appear on the Listing
Please Remember that when you set the Server Key… Its set to your Server’s IP Address… with Residential ISP’s you will/may have it reset once a week unless you are paying for the option of a Static IP Address from them… and the FiveM server Key list looks at that to Verify it each time your Server Starts…
No Matter if this is a Personal PC or a Windows Dedicated or VPS, this is what you will have to Do depending on your ISP or Host Service - if You Contract Thru a Service, you only need to Do this on Your Server (VPS or Dedicated) Window Server
