Ever since the latest update to the Rockstar Games Launcher (RGL) on june 24th, I’ve been unable to launch RedM. I can still log into the RGL and play RDO/RDR2, but as soon as I try to boot up RedM I only get as far as “Connecting with Rockstar Games Launcher” - the R* window pops up and begins to flicker a bit, as if the process is constantly interrupted and restarted - before it fails and displays an error message (image 1). Clicking on ‘Retry’ only repeats the process. When I close on ‘Close’, another error message pops up (image 2) with the designation “ExitCode = 32762”.
What have you tried already to fix the issue?
Measures taken (not necessarily in this order):
Restarted PC
Restarted router
Reinstalled RGL
Reinstalled RedM
Reinstalled RDO
Verified game files
Made the Rockstar folders exclusions from virus and threat protection
Task manager > Services > Rockstar Service > Changed Startup status to “Automatic”

Update: I believe I have managed to resolve the issue!
TL;DR: Log into the RGL, go into general settings and enable “Minimize on close”.
I tried, once again, to reinstall everything - RDO, RGL and RedM. When I reinstalled RedM, a window popped up, saying that my “local Redm game data [was] outdated”.
I obviously clicked ‘yes’ and allowed RedM to download the necessary files. Once the process was complete, I was actually able to open up RedM - BUT only once. When I tried closing and opening it again, the same issue as before occurred.
Reinstalled RedM again - same process - and tried to hop on a server, RedM told me it needed to restart before I could play, shut down and I was seemingly back to square one.
Now, THE KEY to my success: I logged into the RGL, went into general settings and enabled “Minimize on close” to see if this would keep RGL from closing down, as it had previously. That was the final piece of the puzzle!
As of right now, it seems the problem has been resolved. I don’t know if any of my previous measures played any part in it or if it was as simple as checking “Minimize on close” all along - but there you have it!
I’m having the same issue. 32762 Failure connecting to the Rockstar games launcher.
Processor Intel(R) Core™ i7-14700F 2.10 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.7 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Windows 11 Home Nvidia 4060 I took it to a pc repair shop and they believe it’s an issue with RedM.
I’m having the exact same issue. I’ve tried everything I can find online to fix it, I’ve spent the last 5 hours attempting to fix it, & still nothing. I tried the Ai support in the redM/fiveM discord, gave me fixes that I’d already tried several times. Opened a ticket, hoping I’ll get a response but we’ll see. Atm its looking like I’ll just never be able to play a redM server again.
had the same issue as well and found another fix where you delete the rockstar sdk by going into window settings, then apps, then uninstall rockstar games sdk and then open up redm and it should work although its a 50/50 chance you have to do it again the next time u open up redm
