Seems to affect only a couple of players.

If you have any network filter, add https://cfx.re to the exceptions. Other than that there is no known solution.

Alternatively ask the server for their direct connect IP

Have you found any solution?

I am experiencing the exact same thing! I literally cannot join any servers because of that exact same error. I have tried the recommended solutions and none of them worked.

This is very frustrating, and I hope I can find a fix.

Open console (F8). paste “connect serverIP:serverport” replace serverIP and serverport with the correct IP and port

I hate to say it, but that didn’t work - in fact, it gave me a crash and an error. Untitled1

It worked for me. Don’t know why it isn’t working for you too…

Im having the same problem with the crash not letting me in

That issue seems be resolved on the latest Server release. Contact the server owner.

Sorry I don’t understand, does a server release apply to all servers?

So when a server owner setups a server they download it from this site: FiveM Server Download and there you can see all the server versions

@d0p3t We also get this for some users some of the time, would allowing https traffic be the answer?

Strange is happens for some users, and not others…

If you are the server owner, try opening port outgoing 30130 too.

Well not really it seems updating the server fixes it sometimes. maybe check whether your vps has some sort of firewall or blacklist setting. You need to make sure cfx.re is unblocked
