Okay so i’ve figured something out. Setting my graphics to the highest possible makes my gpu and cpu actually use themselves so i get 150 FPS. Lowest graphics make the game use no gpu and cpu at all.
Huh, that means you’re getting bottlenecked on something else somehow - either that or it’s an issue with the latest build. Speaking of, try changing your branch, so if you’re on Stable go to Beta and vice versa, see if it continues there.
And also, test normal GTAV (without FiveM), see if the behavior continues there as well
Normal GTA on any graphics settings performs normally. This is probably an issue with the latest build.
I have no other apps running in the background while playing.
Alrighty, thanks for verifying - I’m surprised there aren’t any more reports on this. Try updating your GPU drivers in the meantime and verifying your Windows is up-to-date, for now
I have this issue as well actually. I was convinced it was RAM and then some kind of network issue, but look through the chat above I think I might be having the same issue. Started out of nowhere, was getting smooth frames and game play, then one night about 2-3 weeks ago the game just became almost unplayable because of frame dropping. was so busy looking at the high usage I didn’t even click that my CPU and GPU were hardly being used
