ESX vs ES vs FX

Hopefully this is in the correct section, but what is the difference between ESX, ES, FX and vRP? Or are they all the same thing? Im new to the fivem servers and am just trying to get an explanation. Thank you!

FX is the core server, you need it in order to run scripts / gamemodes like ESX and vRP. These are separate gamemodes which you can run on FX server.

FX Server is the base of your FiveM server everyone has this.

ES(Essentialmode) is a framework base.
ESX (Essentialmode Extended) is just was it sounds like an ES extension.
vRP is another framework like ES.

In terms of which is better. I prefer ES & ESX over vRP however I think you’d be better off making your own framework.

Thank you very much! I do have one last question, is there one that is more “stable” than the other? Or does it all depend on the script itself? Like I know ESX sometimes puts a lot of strain on a server.
