[ESX][PAID]Advanced Ammo System (Gun Magazines as Items)

Can you Explain More? i don’t exactly know what are you talking about!
You can easily add more type of magazines for each pistol that you want.

I give you an example. I suppose we have 2 gun. GunA and GunB. I buy GunA with 2 GunA magazines ok? If i buy a GunB i can use on it GunA magazines simply by change gun. This trick ammo count and ammo type.

there is a reason for that, adding more Pistol magazine types will only increase the frustration of your players. but if you are willing to do that You can easily add more Magazine types.
Add the new magazine types in your items database.
Define the magazines for the guns in the Config file. Thats it!

the fact is that I have already done everything right. before you think your customers are stupid you should check what is the problem that is brought to your attention. and above all before selling something you should make sure that it works.

There is more than 50 Active servers that are using this script.
Still instead of fully explaining the Issue You are arguing that i assumed my Customers are stupid.
I cannot possibly fix any kind of problem if you do not fully explain the issue.
The scripts are fully tested before the Release.
And as i said You need to change the Magazine type for GunB in config file.
If you already did that and still have this problem thats a different kind of thing. Open a Ticket!

Before I ask a legit refound I wanna try to eplain you with elementary words what your script doesn’t do. You need to do a simple test of what I say, I’ve ask to you a simpliest way to talk for show you on my 2 server but you prefer take long times. Make 2 differents magazines: 1 for pistol50 and 1 for revolver. Trust me is easy! Now we have it configured in config and already added in items db. I think right now is good explained? Next step join online. I don’t have any wepon before login. Are with me from now? So buy or give to yourself a pistol50 and a revolver.
At this point you have in your inventory 2 different pistols without any magazine. All is good. Now you have to buy magazine, buy some magazines for pistol50 ok? So in inventory you have 1x pistol50, 1x revolver and for purpose 5x pistol50_magazines. Are you ok to this point? Now use pistol50, and all is good but if you from pistol50 go to revolver it work without magazines. You can understand this elementary thing? Have you make this script or you have leaked somewhere without understand?

So when Someone Goes from Pistol 50 to Revolver they can Use pistol50_magazines on Revolver?!

Do you mean While Someone is reloading Pistol 50 With pistol50_magazine they switch to revolver then when progress bar gets finished instead of pistol 50 Revolver gets refilled?

use pistol50, and all is good but if you from pistol50 go to revolver it work without magazines. You can understand this

What do you mean Exactly?!! Working without Magazines? it has Bullets? What do you mean by working!
also You need to understand that You should not give your players guns with more bullets than 0. And also by giving them the gun, you have to use ESX not the base GTA Natives.
And also One thing i need to mention for you is That The Magazines are things that you use them to reload not to shoot.
you can use a Magazine to reload a pistol after that when the pistol has ammo you no longer need magazine!!
when you use Magazines It adds Bullets to your Weapon.
If your weapon already has bullets it won’t allow you to reload.
Firing a Gun that Already has bullet in it Do not Require Magazine.

This is the First time that I hear something like this after so many people using it.
And also The issue that Weapons with same category use same bullets are the issue with ESX itself not the script. in order to fix it we have to release a new system for ESX inventory, it cannot be fixed by simply adding a new script. the whole system should be rewritten.

New Update :hammer: :

  • With Fivem New Native (SetWeaponsNoAutoswap) Players Weapon will no longer get automatically swapped when they ran out of ammo.

I don’t know if it would be possible, I have my own custom ammo system, could you show me how you made it so when it reaches 0 ammo he doesn’t unequip the weapon? I tried to use this function but I couldn’t

a Complete Rewrite of this script is in production by our team.

The functionality will be the same, but we will support magazine type for each gun.

All Gta:V Default guns will be supported by default and will have up to 5-7 different type of magazine each.

Just like The First version each gun can only have 1 magazine, this time 1 magazine type. and all the magazine types are used like items ( just like the first version )

For Example You can load your pistol with :

  • Incendiary Magazine
  • Hollowpoint Magazine
  • Blank Magazine
  • Extended Magazine
  • Full Metal Jacket Magazine
  • Armor Piercing Magazine
  • Explosive Magazine
  • Tracer Magazine
    • Tracer Green
    • Tracer Blue
    • Tracer Red
    • Tracer Purple
    • Tracer Yellow

Also we are working with a 3d developer team, that will develop unique models for the guns. for example when you load armor piercing rounds the gun that you are holding will have a unique magazine model that will represent armor piercing rounds, this will be also visible by other players.
