so animals spawn on specific zones and can we kill them by using any item ?

Yes and with configurable item you can process them and get for example meat, leather etc.

Any errors in server console? Make sure you added items in your inventory.

any ideas how to make the animals walk around with taskwannderinarea?
that would add some realism to it.
