Escape button does not show setting menu, screen blur

Folks,
this is the first time for me to use this platform.
when i use recent FiveM client (june 16), playing with GTAV, clicking on ESCAPE button does not show the menu. instead I can see the screen on blur, I can ponly click P to get back to game. it is annoying, kindly help.

Do you have this issue on all servers? Try enabling streaming progress in the main menu settings of FiveM and see if it’s not still trying to download the map while opening the pause menu

Yes the setting was not supposed to fix it, only to see if it was still downloading the map during opening the pause menu.
