Error While Loading Launcher ( I'm so lost XD )

Here is a little explanation of what going on. When I launch fivereborn it starts the launcher and about 2 seconds into loading the launcher it crashes. :frowning: ( I know I don’t have the best recording but here it is in live action https://puu.sh/uhnHp/e6be952aa8.gif )

GTA V version: 1.0.944.2? (https://puu.sh/uhgCE/89191d6d21.png)

Up to date: I’m not sure if 1.0.944.2 is the lastest version.

Legit or Pirate copy: Legit

Steam/CD/Social Club: Steam (not normal installation location)

Windows version: Windows 10 version-1607 build-14393.693

I was looking over some issues other people where having and noticed people would delete the cache folder and re ran p^ and it re-downloaded a patch, a launcher update and something else.

plz help.

EDIT: I’ve been going threw the FAQ topic and non of them really pertain to me, at least as far as I could tell. But I’ve been trying some recommendations based off of some solutions posted along with those errors. So I’m making a small list of things I’ve tried.

1: delete the cache folder and rerun p^. no notable changes
2: delete cache.xml and rerun p^. no notable changes
3: checked my commandline.txt in my gta5 folder to see if it had -scOfflineOnly, it dose not. XD

SOLUTION: Thanks to @pipje2001 and @NotGigo I needed to disable my anti-virus software. I’m useing avast on my system for future reference for the next person to have this issue. Thanks guys :thumbsup: :smile:

have you tried disabeling your anti virus?

So when i mod my gta v game ive got gta v resized i didnt install any of the update mods becasue i know that it wont work at all but ive moddifed everything else when i run gta v not (fivereborn) it works great but when i launch fivereborn it says i have to verify the game but when i do that it will redo everything how can i do this without verifying my game to still play on fiverebron HELP ME!!!

Update your game, don’t mod rpfs unless you use a mods folder.

move your modded gta v to a different folder, download it again,
FiveM will only run on a clean installed gta5
