When I launch FiveM, everything works fine. I can join various servers without any issues, but when I try to join the one below, FiveM launches the server, everything loads properly, and then suddenly, nothing.
The crash always happens at the same moment, just before I can select my character to play.
No one else on the server is experiencing this issue.
It happened out of nowhere.
I was playing, then I quit to remove a graphic pack (NVE).
When I reconnected, I crashed shortly after. I didn’t pay much attention to it at first.
I reconnected again, but I crashed after playing for a short while. This time, it became impossible to reconnect.
It has now been a few days that I’ve been trying everything, but my searches are leading nowhere.
What have you tried already to fix the issue?
Uninstall and reinstall FiveM and GTA 5 (Rockstar)
Delete all files related to FiveM and GTA 5
Restart the PC
Launch FiveM without touching anything
Set FiveM to Release, Beta, and Latest (Unstable)
Enable and disable various game options in FiveM
Connect using F8 and via the server search integrated into FiveM
I checked the GTA 5 cache
I checked for updates on the PC and its components
Hello, this is a friendly reminder because this is your first time creating a topic (or it has been a while since your last topic) in this category.
Please note that most of the support is provided by the Cfx.re community on a voluntary basis. We ask you to be patient; there is no guarantee we have a solution to your problem(s). To avoid unnecessary/duplicate topics, please browse the forums before creating a topic.
To improve your chances of your issue(s) being solved, please provide as much information as possible about the issue(s) you are having. Also —whenever possible— please use the template given to you when creating a topic.
Hello, if this happens only on a specific server, it’s not an issue with your client but with the server itself. Please contact the server staff for support
Hello,
The problem is that the server developers are still learning and also do not know where this could come from knowing that I am also the only one to have this problem.
Maybe I should change the subject?
Unfortunately, the section speaks for itself it is dedicated exclusively to issues related to the FiveM client. We do not provide this type of support! I advise the developers to rely on an external party to resolve the issue. I hope I have resolved your doubt. I wish you a good evening!
No problem! If I helped you in the correct way, I recommend marking the message above as the solution so that if others encounter the same error, they will see that it is an issue with the server itself. Have a good evening
