Error Code 127 Rockstar Launcher not found

What is the issue you’re having?

Hello everyone, today I tried to start RedM as usual and it all worked out fine before. Now whenever I start it checks for Rockstar Games Launcher Updates and then says “127. Could not locate the Rockstar Games Launcher Process! If you are running it as administrator, please launch it as regular user.”

I don’t have it run as admin or whatever and it happens even after uninstalling and reinstalling both RedM and the Rockstar Launcher.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

Uninstalled and reinstalled both RedM and Rockstar Games Launcher, restarted my PC

What server did you get this issue on?

No server I guess? Just launcher issue.

Windows version

Windows 11 Pro 22631.5189

System specifications

Processor: Intel Core i5-14500
Ram: 32GB
GPU: GeForce RTX 4070

Antivirus software

Standard Windows Defender now

Exact same issue here.

I have both steam and rockstar versions, only the rockstar version is installed, but I used to use RedM with the steam one (with the online only)

Same for a player on my server, here are the dumps :

Things tried :
Reinstalling Rockstar game launcher
Verify game files
Reinstalling Redm
Firewall & antivirus disabled

Got some news, a friend helped me, and managed to get the game back. I paste his message to me here, translated in english :

"From memory, Redm doesn’t like launching as administrator. You can try the following trick:

you copy/paste: C:\Users%username%\Appdata\Local\RedM\RedM.app\data\game-storage\launcher (if you’ve installed it on C:)
You should have Rockstar files inside: Launcher.exe Launcher-Patcher.exe
Uninstall your rockstar Launcher as you have a bunch of them (via steam, epic games and/or rockstar)
Run the redm one to see if it installs for you."

Update :
We resolved the issue with creating a brand new user in Windows.
This really seems to be OS related and only on certain architectures.

Can you break down the steps a lil more. Dont understand what this part means:
you copy/paste: C:\Users%username%\Appdata\Local\RedM\RedM.app\data\game-storage\launcher (if you’ve installed it on C:)
