Make sure that you have selected the actual folder that GTA V is installed in, not just Steam directory. It should be the folder under /steam/command/GTA or something similar.
Have you completely removed FiveM from your PC by uninstalling it? If you haven’t do that, then reinstall. Instructions for uninstallation can be found on the docs page for FiveM.
