Nah it’s basically a menu to create scenes all over the map and render them when you are close, so instead of a config file, you can place peds and objects exactly where you want.
For example, it’s always a pain to place a chair and a ped in sit animation on it.
With this menu, you can just spawn the chair, place it exactly where you want, spawn a ped, configure the animation or scenario, and adjust exactly how he sit on the chair
Maybe in future update i can add a statebag on the ped / object with the id to allow you to handle that and interract with, right now, it’s just a tool to populate easily mappings etc
What you can do with a spawn script using config file for coords etc, you can do it with this way more fast and exactly how you want, for example mappers doing videos can populate mlo with peds easily, like placing 20 peds in less than 5min with positions on seats etc.
We are using it on my server to populate mappings to avoid “empty effect”
Got a lot of DM’s of people seeing my teammate on stream populating mapping, and asking for it, that’s why i released it in public
I looked at kibook’s code for this; it seems it does a lot of the same things, but it doesn’t seem to add/remove peds from the client dynamically based on distance.
I did take a quick look at it, so its possible it does do it, but not from what I could tell at a glance.
I understand your passion to defend resources that are open source or source access and to prevent people from selling something that is comparatively the same as a free tool…
However, with this utilizing ox_lib, I assume it is leaning on the ox_lib point system to create points with radius to optimize ped creation/removal based on distance.
Perhaps RedM is less prone to hit entity cap (this is where I usually see the spooner being used), but FiveM is really bad about it, due to dev’s not optimizing ped creation in their scripting during runtime.
It spawn peds / objects etc only in predefined radius and delete them when you leave
All entities are client sided
It include search, easy dupplication, teleport to etc. You can check preview for all features
You can rotate / move entities with gizmo
All is saved in database to persist over reboots
Idk about others menus. All i know it’s everybody that have looked my teammate stream when he was using it for our server, asked for this resource. So i suppose it is better than free ones.
You can check all my scripts and ask my customers for quality of support, updates, and performances.
And if you really don’t want it, just use the free one ? What’s the problem ?
If I may make a recommendation though, this shouldn’t be too hard to implement:
exports get points and point info from this resource for use in other resources…
It would be ideal to create targets/zones based around this point system if possible, so, exporting that data into other resources imo would be kind of powerful. This would help experienced devs that maybe are a bit adhd or a little lazy further optimize their scripting. Otherwise, this sounds really good, might give this a look.
No, it’s just to create “life” but since all entities are client sided, it’s not possible to make them attack you or whatever, people will not see the same thing
