Description:
This is an invisible prop as an easy and optimised way to remove any props you want on the GTA Map
Editable
Optimised for performance
Ready for seamless integration into your server
Ideal For: Removing Props you donât want without map editing experience or knowledge Buggy Props that you want removed Era based Servers that want to remove modern technology Anything your imagination desires
Please update your post to remove references to âopen sourceâ, as this is misleading. Consider using the word âsourceâ instead; for example: âthe client source is editable, while the server is escrowedâ.
Itâs a prop replacement, you donât need a config. You replace the file name with the prop you want replaced and place it in a stream folder.
For example, how I got rid of the pcâs in PD. The prop name is prop_ld_monitor_01, you go to the empty prop file change it to prop_ld_monitor_01 and place it in any stream file.
You can get dev tools for free to find out every prop on the server and plebmasters, then replace what ever you want. You just need to make sure if itâs a ydr, you replace with the ydr and if its yft replace with the yft files.
The only thing it wont change is if the prop if actually embedded into the MLO itself, for example some Gabz and UncleJust props are the MLO which requires MLO editing but they encrypt their stuff.
However, from my experience, most are separate props and can be removed. Itâs easy to find out though, when you search the prop on plebmaster - if you canât find it, its embedded in the map
I donât understand how this useful? As to get the prop name you will have to use a mapping software such as codewalker, so why would i need to use this script to delete or remove this prop, when i could do the same, and have the same effect in codewalker.
No, there is many easier and less intensive ways than codewalker to live to it in your server. Many.
Also, 1. Not everyone has much knowledge or experience with codewalker, and this is a simple prop replacement which is 20x easier.
It doesnât require a ymap therefore less intensive on your server. If you are making a ymap for every little thing you want to remove, your server will not be optimised and start to cause issues.
Using codewalker to remove things is complicated for some people and creates unnecessary ymaps and resources that just isnât needed.
This is something you can throw in any stream folder, doesnât mess with any other MLOS or Ymaps, and it just easier if you know what prop you want to replace.
Thatâs not the point, the point is to even get a prop name you have to use a mapping tool, my example was codewalker. I donât see the point of having a resource that changes a prop to make it invisible when I could delete it using the same tool to get the prop name.
Additionally, with codewalker creating ymaps, you can only have 1 ymap, and it will use the same amount of resources loading 1 ymap, as loading your script. Additionally, your resource will probs use more server resources as you are having to load in a prop and change the prop, then remove it entirely.
Itâs not changing a prop to be invisible, itâs removing it with an empty slot. It is gone.
Not to be combative, but your just adding extra things to the score card to make it look better when in reality, it is the same thing as editing on codewalker, without the complexity of it and not having the possibility of your ymap conflicting with other MLOS.
It is a prop replacement with nothing. No prop. The server has to stream those original props anyway. GTA has its own native props that it streams, uses resources, and streams âmultiple timesâ
As long as what you replacement it with its equal to or less than, it doesnt hurt anything. Whereas a ymap has potential to conflict with other maps as well as other things if youâre inexperienced with it.
Loads the script. (Isnât a script)
Streams a prop. (youâd need to stream a ymap anyway)
Replaces the prop with an empty empty prop. (a ymap replaces the map with your own, same point as above)
Has to stream that same prop multiple times. (Invalid, the server/gta does that regardless)
If you donât understand that, itâs fine. You donât need to if you have a preferred way. Some people donât want to edit maps, learn that and then try to figure out if it goes wrong, when they can say I was PC monitors removed, look on plebmasters what the prop is and name replace it. So simple.
This is useful for so many reasons, but was done for an era based server.
And itâs less than ÂŁ1 per thing. Really not that big a deal either.
If your preference is to ymap it, go for it. This is just an alternative way that in my opinion is easier and youâre not relying on a ymap you need to constantly edit.
this might be one of the best showcases of what fivem has become lmao. iâm sorry but selling an âemptyâ prop is just crazy, and the fact that this is even allowed on the forums is laughable. iâm pretty sure there are some debug/unused props in the base game that are invisible/empty so itâs entirely possible that this is just a repackaged rockstar âassetâ. crazy⌠also, trying to advertise this as a on-par alternative to actually removing the props from spawning entirely is absurd when the game has a limited pool of props that can be spawned at once.
Hey, I appreciate your feedback, but I wanted to clarify a few things.
This prop is meant to be an alternative for people who donât have mapping experience or donât want to spend hours figuring out complex solutions. It saves time, simplifies workflows, and is designed for users who just want a plug-and-play solution without the hassle.
The small price attached reflects the time and effort I invested in creating it, not just slapping together something random. Itâs also priced reasonably to make it accessible while respecting the work that went into it.
I understand your point about prop limits and the potential of debug assets. But for many users, this option works just fine without needing deep technical knowledge. Thereâs a demand for simple solutions like this, and Iâm just trying to fill that gap.
And this was made by me. And for anyone that puts time, effort and work into something they are absolutely in their right to charge for that time.
