Fixed by turning off the Steam Client Beta participation.

this works thank u bb i love you

A recent Steam Client Beta update appears to be causing a new wave of Early-Exit Trap errors for FiveM users. If FiveM suddenly began crashing, failing to launch, or showing an Early-Exit Trap error, disabling Steam Client Beta Participation has resolved the issue for many users.

There is currently a change to the Steam Overlay on the Steam Beta branch that is triggering Early-Exit Trap errors.

Recommended fix:

  1. Open SteamSettingsInterface.
  2. Set Client Beta Participation to No beta chosen.
  3. Restart Steam and launch FiveM again.

Usually, early-exit trap errors can be resolved by driver updates, FiveM cache clearing, even terminating overlay programs. Thankfully, it’s just a minor bug from Steam.

I must have tried 100 fixes that did nothing. This immediately fixed my 5 different instant crash errors. Thank you.
