DuskTilDawn Gaming is a Community for gamers to enjoy and feel at home in and we look forward to kicking off our offering with a RDR2 RP server.
This is a new Community for 2024, headed up by a player with 35 years of gaming experiance and 8 years RP experiance in different games. The server is still under development but now is the time to get comfy on the discord and get the latest news as it happens - and beat the queue.
The community is Whitelisted with a written application. This is a serious roleplay server and people should not expect anything else. Getting accepted won’t just get you access to the RDR Server, but it will also give you access to any other servers we open in future. We have zero tolerance for ‘bad gamers’ !!
The main concept of the server is not to overload it with scripts that dont work or dont add to the RP experiance. We are taking our time to test what is there and adjust where required - If it’s no good, we’ll get rid of it.
We value our community feedback and will make changes where necessary, that being said we wont be pushed into things that give players unfair advanage, takes away from RP or just isn’t the right thing to do.
Community Admin and Staff are bound to a Code of Conduct and are there to use their experiance to make the server - your home for RDR. Roleplay is the focus and giving people the ability to create fun and unique characters is a priority.
As mentioned this is brand new for 2024 and the server development is well underway but we need you, the players to join us, grow the community and spread the word, share your experiance and help us create a fun and exciting RP experiance. Hey all. Just a quick update.
Things are progressing well. Just deciding on the final scripts to implenet for 1.0. Not an easy choice and there are many things that people want! The application system is nearly ready and we’ll be opening that before the server launches. Discord Channels are pretty much sorted and just have a few admin docs to complete too.

Making some big strides in the last phases of getting 1.0 ready. After that we’ll be doing some limitied access testing (testers required) to work out the kinks.
Then, go live!!
To help prepare I have opened the Whitlist application form. The link for this can be found in Discord in the Welcome channel - you cant miss it.
As mentioned this is a serious RP server so please don’t rush your answers. Dont second guess what is being looked for. Just think about your main character and the rest will come

Hello. Still a bit away from 1.0 - At a guess we are about 80% there. So being so close the Whitelist application is now open.
Its been opened a bit early to get people approved and ready for lauch. So when you join Discord, look in the welcome post, you can get the link from there - Easy!
Made some really good progress over the last couple of days. I would say script wise we are about 95% there!! Still stuff to confgure but the core fundamentals are in and working, Admin documentations, rules, guidelines etc are done. Whitelist application is ready and open (there is no voice interview for acceptance!).

Updated the ‘live server’ last night and need to tweak a couple of things on the Police script. Hoping to open the server for live testing over the weekend - will keep discord notified.

If you fancy yourself as a good and constructive tester then you can now jump on our server and give your constructive feedback. This is a limited access event to test the core functions of the server to prepare for main launch of 1.0. Just go to the discord and follow the instructions in the Announcement section.
DTD is now at a place where the core framework for 1.0 is where it needs to be to open. The big thing now, is the hardest part, and building a new community from scratch. Although the server is WL - all it is a questionaire.
No verbal interviews or requirements of a job interview processs to play. When your Application is accepted you will automatically be given access to the server!!

Point of note: We do need Law and DOJ so if you have experiance then let us know on discord.
