Drift Tires [Standalone, ESX + QBCore]

Drift Tires Thumbnail

Bring the amazing world of drifting to your city. With this script you can turn pretty much any car into a drift monster (well, as long as its not FWD, you may need some fast food trays for that)

Featuring highly expansive and configurable tire swapping system. Your mechanics will no longer just change some values through 2d menus. It’s time to get to work. Equipping tires and drifting is one thing, but this script doesn’t stop there. It also comes with a built-in shop system to purchase the necessary items such as the car jack and different types of tires. To allow further fine tuning of the tire and the handling of the vehicle you are able to drive up to any air compressor (most gas stations and workshops already have them) to air in or air out of your tires to increase or decrease the traction.

This script does not alter the handling.meta of the vehicle but rather achieves the drifting physics using different in-game scripting functions and math resulting in a highly realistic script which also is compatible with pretty much any other script that may alter the vehicles handling & performance.

Appreciate it
The drift tires are pretty embedded into the script, so sadly not at this moment, maybe in the future support for more types will be implemented

can you switch out props?
this is dope! way more than i expected

You can change the props used for the air compressors, the wheel balancer is a custom model, the wheel model can not be changed

is this tied down to bennys or can other locations be added?

You can do it anywhere, as long as you’re willing to walk to the nearest balancer (for which you can set locations in the config)

is this a balancer

Technically it is, but not one that the script uses. This script has a custom one with no wheel attached to it so we that we can put the wheel on it and animate it. The script spawns the custom prop by itself on the locations defined in the config

Can there be a possibility to have wheel balancing as a standalone , would love it for RP

What would the point of it be as a standalone version of just that exactly?

I bought the script and it brings a whole new role in the mechanic world… it would be awesome if we could create our own wheels with our own values (changeable values of the handlings file, for example traction etc. for each rim)… that would bring even more reality into the script. Thanks mate @Kuzkay

this would be cool if it had a option for npc missons to just install them and make money for mechanics but prob wont happen but yeah
