Download Support

My FiveM was playing up, so I decided to reinstall it. I removed all files from my PC and reinstalled it. When I reinstalled FiveM I saw it said ‘Update’. I looked for the files and found them in my downloads. I have no idea why it’s there, and Application Data is missing.

In the address bar type: %localappdata%\FiveM and press Enter , See if it exists there. If not try disabling antivirus
Also are you running exe from download folder or desktop? Because if you do in download folder, it will install there

I deleted all files form the FiveM folder in appdata. I When I run exe I tried in the FiveM folder which I dragged it into and the downloads folder

When I download it and run exe it says this:

A) because when you put exe in that folder and run it from there, it will download there
B) As long as progress with download, you are fine unless it stops, then disable antivirus

I have done both and they don’t work… This is what im trying to say. i have reinstalled fivem before with no troubles.

Delete everything fivem related. Make sure to search for it in the windows button search field.

Then - restart your system.
Once that’s back up, create a folder on your main drive © - name it Fivem.
Go download the fivem exe - move it from your downloads and then run the exe.
Most likely fivem is cached somewhere and is causing a conflicting on the dll.s that is required to run it/update the client side launcher.
