Does FiveM work with social club version?

Hey, guys.

I am gifting a copy of GTA V to my friend. I am going to buy him the rockstar, social club version. Is he still able to run the Five M mod for it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean? does fivem work with social club version? Yes. FiveM works with every legal version of GTA5

Alright, thank you!

I didn’t want to risk buying it and it not working. I thought you’d need steam open for the source sdk to work for the five m mod. Hence thinking I’d need to buy the steam edition

It works with socialclub, if a server tells you steam is not open just open Steam in the background and reboot FiveM. FiveM can use your steam id for identifiers but doesn’t require to own the game on steam
