anyone have a tututorial or can explain to me how to edit/add new ranks to different esx jobs?
If you look in your database, you’ll find a job_grades table. That table holds what you think of as ranks:
You can add additional grades here . You can have more than one rank that holds the same grade, so you could have trial with a grade of 0, office_staff with a grade of 1, drivers with a grade of 1, warehouse with a grade of 1, etc. The jobs usually work where the higher your grade, the more functions that are available to you.
yes i know how the databsase works and how the grades work as to more functions/higher grades, but ive been in servers where they have a police rank go as high as 8-9, i want to know how to add grades like that, and how to change the names of the job, such as…i have a job called mecano and the grades are different language, i can change the names of the grade, but not the job
so example, for my ems. its 0-3 ems grades…for grade 0 it will say ems:recruit on the hud, how would i change that to LSAngels:EMT
also i want to add grade so instead of 0-3 for ems i want 0-5 ems grades
In your example, LSAngels would be set in the jobs table, label row and for EMT, you would change the label for ambulance job grade 0 in the job_grades table.
