I forgot to mention, I’m using the version from Epic Games, which only seems to offer the Enhanced version these days. At least for GTAV. The others wind up being a “Definitive” version, instead of any legacies.
I’ve got a few questions on this. Of course there’s a difference in files between Enhanced and Legacy. Though, from what I can tell, the DLC files seem to be similar between each other. Yes, again, core files will be different.
My assumption is that as you’ve mentioned, FiveM was designed for Legacy. I’m curious to know whether there might be an option at some point to use this mod with Enhanced in the future. I do understand this requires its own approach to that version, as opposed to Legacy.
I only ask these things because I don’t feel like buying GTAV all over again just to grab the Legacy. I do have friends who play this mod, I’d like to join them with it at some point.
One further question (which might explain the true issue). Is there a point that if you guys DO develop a compatibility for the Enhanced version, would it be possible to be cross-compatible between Legacy and Enhanced? Or are they so different in their file operations that they wouldn’t be able to “play” well together when it comes to operating on the same server?
You can get GTA5 legacy from the epic games store its simply called Grand Theft Auto 5 instead of Enhanced, if you need more info on how to get GTA5 legacy on epic games google will have the info you need.
