i am getting the problem where it says deferring connection and then after about a minute it says failed to handshake

I don’t want this to whitelsit my server to where you HAVE to be in the discord. I just want this to work so if you have a role in discord then you have certain permissions in game.
It doesn’t whitelist? What are you on?
