They made a platform for people to share their code, its the creator of the resources fault if theres a flaw in security, its either their or your issue to deal with
no. an element has already said that.
You acknowledge the security flaw could exist.
You acknowledge the code comes from you
You acknowledge the exploit path is through FiveM Console
@ytterium said it could
we also aknowledge you are an idiot who’s not able to have a server.
Slander is never a valid argument. If you had one you’d have made it.
But… the only way a command could be ran through the console is if youre using RegisterCommand iirc, so you could still do the same through the chat resource, therefore calling the console flawed makes no sense?
also, @ytterbium said YOU COULD by modifying and rebuilding FiveM
You presume there is a chat
RegisterCommand would still work, it even comes with built in ace permission checking option if you so wish, the flaw is in your code, not FiveM
just get it, there’s no need to have such a feature… FIX YOUR CODE, THAT’S IT.
The flaw could be in every single resource on every single server. (Meltdown style! why not give us the option to close the gate.
cause it’s useless work the elements would have to do. also if you really want this feature, how about you just code it and then make a Pull Request on the GitHub page?
Thats dumb, if you have a security flaw in your code, you fix it, dont rely on someone else to make a fix for your own faults
I’ll close this as well.
