Does anyone know of a way or a bot that tracks SteamHex’s on FiveM and will log it if they connect to a server that is not mine? For example to detect dual clanning?
Firstly, why are you trying to create such an authoritarian environment for your community? Why should players be forced to play on your servers and not have the freedom to join others? That’s ridiculous and I’m sure you’ve got bigger fish to fry. To answer your question, no, there’s no way.

We do not actually have a dual clan policy… We are thinking about enforcing it for Staff members. (Not that this is any of your business)
There is a way, I was in a community that did it, I just need to figure out how.

My server is made for any who wants to dual clan I allow it and I allow partnerships with other servers as I feel that we should all come together and work together.

I’m actually a developer so I plan on making a custom frame-work, I feel like basically all the RP servers I’ve played on are lacking…no direction or intuitive controls/help, no ems at times, buggy or crashy, etc - etc. Maybe I’ll hop on your server and see whats up!

Not looking for something to limit them. Looking forward a log to keep track of what servers they connect to.
That is not something you can do just in FiveM, as a server has no way to tell if a specific client is playing on another server, obviously. I really suggest you refrain from even trying to implement that somehow - it’s really not a great idea. What you might go for, instead, is allow staff to play on other servers, but not be staff there as well - that’s the generally more accepted way of doing this.

There is a way to do this but here are the flaws:
- makes people want to leave your server because you think you are China
- They can just turn off rich presence?
- If you made a bot to do this it would probably be API Spam if it checks all of your staff rich presence constantly
I didn’t intend to come across as hostile, so if I did, apologies. The reason for my posting was only to try and discourage you from creating such an environment. It’d be quite a nasty environment if you’re seeing players (albeit just staff) being punished for playing on other servers. As such, it’d likely be a huge deterrent for your community.
They are literally all that bad…?! I remember a few years ago NoPixel was a thing and those servers were awesome! I can’t seem to find them on server browser now, are they private, all the good ones are?
NoPixel is still a thing but all “good” RP Servers are whitelist because most public ones just have people who troll or GTAO players that got banned on GTAO
