Hello everyone, I was wondering what is better and less laggy for GTA 5 RP servers. I have a MSI laptop, but for some reason it will not load FiveM anymore, it says it needs an update but I can’t seem to have any luck.
Preferably a computer that is not above $1,200. I don’t have any knowledge when it comes to specs, ram, processors, any of that so if you could provide a link to a specific computer that would be even more appreciated. Look forward to gaming again with yall real soon hopefully
A computer over 600 will be able run FiveM. Just properly set game like lock frame rate thats going stress your hard ware. I use a 3050 card and I9 processor and keep game at 1080p and 60fps locked.

That would be fine you will be able run stock gta 5 on high graphics with stable frame rate, your pc is overkill for fivem its a 10 year old ame. 512gb is pretty small by todays standards but its easy to upgrade your storage. As long you know how properly use settings in game and don’t have graphics mods that require alot you should be fine. I have a 3050 and I9 and I can run stable 120fps plus on high but I prefer keep it locked at 60 fps because I just don’t care to have game eat that much. As most time as i’m playing as LEO i’m watching youtube on another screen.
Did you build your desktop, or did you buy it all “complete” I guess. I’ve never been a PC gamer so all this is new to me and I have ZERO clue what any of this means as far as specs and all that. I did have a MSI laptop while I was overseas, but the internet connection was so bad I couldn’t find a non-laggy server. Tried my laptop now but I get some error code while trying to load up, and I cant figure out how fix it to play it again.
Or would I be able to somehow pull up the specs of my laptop, take a pic of them and post them here and see if my laptop even supports the current version? Where would I go to pull up all those specs?
I really appreciate any help, as I really miss this game even tho I only got to play about two months
