when i join any fivem server and try to play I am stuck at job center or the spawn point and I have the cursor of my mouse stuck and I cant move Ive done anything can someone help me or assist me further?
have u found a fix ?
What? Clearing cache is probably the last thing you want to try and what is this video?
Also 2 year old post resurrection…
And why is it the last thing, and what are you bringing?
How are you a forum regular and asking why clearing cache isn’t a recommend first step or understanding in almost all cases is not a fix.
First of all, a guy is asking few days ago for a fix, Secondly if his mouse get stuck suddenly, its not a missing keybind, could be many things. So its always nice to make sure you client and server is synes. I dont know why you feel so aggrivated, but if it helped you go get some steam out, im happy for you.
In first aid situations its always better to do something than doing none, and if you cant handle why even bother, seems to be your philosophy.
What are you even saying?
No one said it was.
And clearing the cache doesn’t make sure the client and server is synced nor would that have any impact on a cursor issue on the client side.
The fix provided by THEJEAN_Kevin is the most logical and if it doesn’t work, there is probably something they aren’t mentioning like using Parsec which is known to have issues with passing the mouse movement to FiveM.
And no, in first aid situations you can most definitely make the situation worse by doing something without thinking fist. Move someone with a major spine or neck injury without needing to and you’ve just made sure they are paralyzed for life or worse.
Again, wondering how you have the regular role with this level of advice and logic.
It never hurt anyone to clear cache.
You okay?
clear cache, works wonders sometimes!
You’ve never had to deal with someone complaining about texture loss, slow downloads, and other issues that arise from clearing the cache. There’s is a reason it’s a blocked phrase in the Cfx discord. Just like reinstall phrases are.
Again, I am confused how you have the forum regular role and believe clearing cache is the first step in troubleshooting a FiveM issue.
You get the last word, this not a place to help you get sorted.
As you dont reply on my questions I feel its impossible to understand what your thoughts except topic even has to do with topic.
You didn’t ask questions, you are telling people the first step to their problems is to clear their cache. I am pushing back against that line of thought with clear evidence as to why that shouldn’t be your first step to hopefully dissuade you and others from recommending something that does, in fact, cause issues for lots of people. Which I clearly mentioned in my replies to your comment.
Here is the TL;DR
Clearing your cache is not the recommended first step. Never has been and never will be. Just like reinstalling should never be your first step.
