What is the issue you’re having?

Everytime I try to join this specific server I play on I get the error, but on other servers I don’t get it and join fine.

Using a VPN lets me join, so could it be something with my ip? Using dorm ethernet atm.

What have you tried already to fix the issue?

Turned off windows defender, firewall, have put the port into firewall.

update: there are some other servers I cant connect to either

Try changing your DNS settings to something else if you already have something there. If this does not work make sure you have proxy settings turned off sometimes windows will have it on for some reason this personally happened to me when I use a different proxy service.

If using a VPN worked then just play on the VPN it does not hurt unless they don’t allow VPN’s.

You could also reach out to server admins and see if your IP is being blocked. If so then you are probably blacklisted or got blacklisted by accident.
