What is the issue you’re having?

I’m having an issue connecting to a server I’ve been playing on for about two weeks. When I join I get the following message:

“Connection failed
Failed handshake to server - transfer closed with outstanding read data remaining - CURL error code 18 (Transferred a partial file).”

I’ve also had my discord become unlinked from my account, I haven’t figured out a way to link discord again, everything else is still linked though. Clicking the link button in the client and authorize on the website hasn’t re-linked my discord…

What are you trying to do?
Connect to servers and also re-link my discord account to the fivem client

What have you tried already to fix the issue? complete uninstalls and reinstalls of FiveM, and connecting with a VPN.

What did you do to get this issue? I left my computer on overnight as i slept, everything was working fine and then the next day I started getting this problem when trying to connect to servers, after the reinstall my discord was no longer linked to the FiveM client, although everything else is still linked. reauthorizing the website isn’t resolving the issue either.

What server did you get this issue on? Be specific and name some, ‘all of them’ by itself isn’t useful!
