Connect to the server. What have you tried already to fix the issue?
Fresh install, cleared cashe, flusheddns and ipconfig. Also tried to connect to the server address via F8 menu but nothing. Also changed adapter settings to ports 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1, neither of which helped or fixed the issue. Error screenshot (if any):

Hi there! First, I just want to clarify that I’m not part of the staff—I’m just trying to help based on similar issues I’ve seen.
From what you’ve described, it seems like the problem is related to your connection with the Illusion Roleplay server. The CURL 56 error (“Connection was reset”) usually points to an issue receiving data from the server. Here are a few things you could try:
Check if the server is online
Sometimes the server might be down or undergoing maintenance. Have you checked if other players are able to connect or if the server has posted about any current issues?
Try using a different network
It’s possible your ISP is blocking some of the connections to that specific server. You could try connecting through a different network, like your phone’s hotspot, to see if it makes a difference.
Temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus
Sometimes these programs can block certain connections. Try disabling them briefly and see if that resolves the issue (just remember to turn them back on afterward!).
Set up a DMZ or open specific ports on your router
Some GTA servers require certain ports to be open. Check if Illusion Roleplay has any documentation or port requirements and make sure they’re properly configured.
Update your drivers and OS
Make sure your network drivers and Windows are fully updated. Outdated software can sometimes cause unexpected issues with connections.
Try using a VPN
If the server is in a different region, there could be regional blocks or routing issues. Connecting through a VPN might help bypass these restrictions.
Hopefully, one of these steps will help you get connected! If none of them work, it might be worth reaching out to the server admins directly for further guidance.
Sorry if I can’t help more—these are just things I’ve tried based on personal experience, and I know every case can be different. But best of luck!
