Customized with Players In Mind
Using a modified VORP Framework as our foundation, we have spent hours, days, and weeks going over almost every aspect of what’s available within VORP itself, the scripts available out there already, and a solid handful of our own custom code to create an experience we don’t believe you’ll find anywhere else. Almost every system links into another in one way, shape or form. Crafting is based on experience and leveling, so you can start as a novice and, with time, become a master craftsman. Crime is something to explore, experiment with, and conquer. Law enforcement is something truly befitting the era, with a little less conversation and a little more action.
Most of all, we’ve built everything with you in mind. We’re open to any and all conversations and suggestions that the community may have, and want to work together, as a community, to create what we believe could easily be something truly special. -
Detailed & Immersive World
Red Dead Redemption II features one of the most detailed worlds in gaming, and so we wanted to lean into that, rather than try to reinvent that particular wheel. As such, almost all of our NPC vendors, player-owned businesses, and services are placed in locations that just make sense. Hardware stores are, surprisingly, placed in locations where there are hardware stores. The same applies to butchers, slaughter houses, general stores, and so on.
Similarly, we’ve hidden all of our shady workbenches and illegal activity vendors in locations that, well, you could probably guess fairly quickly if you know a little somethin’ somethin’ about the world of Red Dead Redemption II. Some of the, however, do happen to roam around a little - so they’ll not always be in the same location from one day to the next.
Finally, we’ve extended the in-game day/night cycle to last for six real life hours, meaning you’ve got plenty of time during the day to do whatever you want to do, but equally have a decent amount of night time, allowing you to operate a little more covertly under the cover of darkness, assuming that’s your kind of thing. -
New, Friendly Community
Having just launched recently, following a long development period, we’re proud to say that we’ve already developed a friendly, welcoming community of roleplayers, new and old, who we’re thrilled to play alongside each and every day.

Stables & Horse Customization
In each town, you’ll find a stable with a variety of horses to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a trusty steed to get you around or something more flashy - like a wagon - you’re sure to find something that’ll get you from A to B, and if not then you can always go more in-depth, using our custom coat colors system to make your horse a true “one-of-a-kind.”
Our in-depth horse training system allows you to work with Horse Trainers to improve your horse’s skills and abilities - such as speed, acceleration, and handling - and if you’re lucky, you might even find a rare horse that isn’t usually found in the wild in Red Dead Redemption II, meaning you completely skip the upfront cost of purchasing it!
Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just starting out, we guarantee that we have something for you. -
In-Depth Crime
Dive deep into the gritty underworld of Harlan State with our experience and levels based criminal system. Start your journey from the bottom as, for example, a lowly drug dealer, and work your way towards a point where you can engage in thrilling heists; such as robbing wagons, or planning intricate bank jobs.
For those with grander ambitions, you could always rise to become a criminal mastermind, orchestrating your illicit empire and controlling entire towns from the shadows. Every decision shapes your destiny in our living world, where infamy and power await those daring enough to seize them - so long as you’re smart about it, and don’t get caught by the United States Marshals Service before you even get started. -
Flexible Economy
We understand that a healthy economy is essential for a thriving roleplay community, so our economy is designed to be both flexible and responsive, allowing us to work closely with the community to maintain a balance that is both fun and fair for players both new and established.
We have implemented a variety of measures to ensure that the economy remains stable and rewarding for everyone, and our Development Team is dedicated to monitoring the economy and making adjustments as and when they’re needed. We also encourage our players to provide feedback and suggestions, so that we can continue to improve the system. -
Player-Owned Businesses
We believe that a thriving player-owned business system can help in creating a truly vibrant and engaging roleplay experience. That’s why we’ve worked closely with our community to create a system that is both flexible and responsive, allowing us to create businesses that will only serve to better service the in-character community at large.
Our Staff Team is dedicated to working with players to bring their business ideas to life, whether it’s a gunsmith, a ranch, a horse trainer, or something else entirely. We’re committed to maintaining a system that is both fun and fair for players of all levels, and we encourage our players to provide feedback and suggestions so that we can continue to improve all aspects of player-owned businesses.
Harlan State, 1894.
The end of the era of the outlaw is fast approaching in the American West, as more modern sensibilities gradually approach from the East. Having recently been granted Statehood by the Federal Government, the newly-established Harlan State finds itself at a pivotal moment in its history; one where law and order stands to take hold, and lead the territory into the fast-approaching twentieth century.
It is known, however, that the road to Hell is paved with good intentions, and so while Harlan intends to drive itself along the trail to safety and modernity, there is a seedy underbelly of outlaws and ne’er-do-wells who are equally willing and ready to seize this opportunity, and to turn Harlan into the last beacon of the true Wild West, before that light is snuffed out by progress and time itself.
Unfortunately for Harlan, the Federal Government wasn’t as forthcoming with resources as the powers that be would have hoped for, and so the County of New Austin remains as it always has been; a desolate wasteland of dust and dirt, where only those desperate for that sense of open freedom call it home. Meanwhile, everything North and East of the Lower Montana River has received something of an influx of care, attention, and, most importantly, money, leading to the likes of Blackwater opening up a handful of new businesses, and the reopening of some previously abandoned mines, and industries. Towns are keen to bring in new business owners, the United States Marshals Service and Harlan State Doctor’s Office are anticipating bringing in new employees, and the wilds of Harlan State are open and ready to be tamed.
