What is the issue you’re having?
FiveM is crashing consistently at launch with a fault in adhesive.dll!CreateComponent. I’m using an NVIDIA RTX 5080 with the latest Studio and Game Ready drivers. I’ve tested both driver branches, and I’m already running on the Canary build of FiveM.
This crash occurs immediately during initialization, and logs indicate no errors in loading components up to the crash point.
Crash signature: adhesive.dll+2CBD751
Faulting call: adhesive.dll!CreateComponent (0x2bda9e1)
Report ID: si-10a90fc32e9344beb9c6ff5579276037
What have you tried already to fix the issue?
Running FiveM Canary
Cleaned d3d11.dll, dxgi.dll, ReShade, etc. from GTA V root
Updated to latest WHQL Studio and Game Ready drivers (tested both)
Cleared FiveM cache
Disabled overlays (Discord, GeForce Experience, MSI Afterburner)
Tried forcing +set graphicsAPI D3D11 in launch
Ran as Admin
Tried clean boot (no services)
Disabled Core Isolation / Memory Integrity
Disabled Hyper-V via bcdedit
Verified GTA V install via Rockstar Launcher
Still crashes in the same location — within adhesive.dll during startup. The log ends cleanly with pre-game load components loading as expected, with no other errors shown.
