ESX support is LIMITED!
WARNING: The filters behave differently in ESX … the resource still works but exact filters wont look the same due to how each framework modifies the timecycle xml files. Also i have yet to figure out how to grab ESX player data and stream to pause menu…
Yes, but it wont have the exact effect. This is a filter built into gta5 and the major limitation is only one can be applied at a time. but there are many more, i could add more filters into the script and add them into the config for easy switching.
i will go though and add the more interesting ones i find tonight and update the script
i still need to make changes
im having a hard time adding all the filters in
ill work more on it after im done with work tonight
change the config to include a non-existent filter like “nofilter” and it should go away OR use a filter that dosent have any effect. To find list of filters check the config for link
I’ve been experimenting trying to modify the xml file and then stream the modified xml to the client from the server but when I change the values I can’t seem to get the colors to change.
My idea was could edit the values of the xml so that the esx and qbcore filter will look the same on both frameworks because for whatever reason nightvision looks lame on esx
I will try your approach and see if I get better results
Making a thread could be taxing on the server
Also I’m trying to find out why the filters appear diffrent in each frame work
I haven’t found in qbcore or esx where the xml for time cycles lives
I also experimented with modifying the time cycle modifiers with commands to adjust the colors but that was unsuccessful
I got few questions / suggestions, will you add the possibility to edit the others panels ? For example remove all the panel that are not useful such as stats etc. and replace with either our own stuff or remove it entirely
That’s a good idea… I could edit the script to allow other info to be displayed instead of the character info… like a discord server url or website url and add the option into the config
For example on our server we give to new player a “guide” that help them through the server with some commands etc. but it would be nice to be inside the pause menu instead since it’s not really realistic lol
Do you know which values I need to change to modify the background of the pause menu to match the one shown in the picture of this script (NoPixel green)? I have another script that’s altering these values, and I can’t locate the right spot to adjust them to my preferences.
