Its funny that its not just FiveM with that problem now, having a similar problem with RedM its getting unbearable to play with that CPU usage / tempsā€¦

Same Issues as seen above, and PC specs good. i9-10900K RTX3080 and still having an issue where if i open FiveM, even the menu causes my CPU temps to spike. Using a AIO and still ive seen it thermal throttle and hit 100-C. GPU is fine it CPU running wild. Making sure to continue this post to hopefully get some insight. Tried uninstalling FiveM, reinstalling, clearing cache, etc. Same issues as stated above.

Hi there,

I was playing normally untill this last FiveM update (Ver. 7213). Now my CPU is always at 100% usage and itā€™s impossible to play on any Five M server.

Please rectify this for us.

I think everyone has this problem at the moment. My complete community with a few hundred of players can not play FiveM without a CPU Usage of 100%. I really hope, that FiveM/Cfx will release an update or fix. Otherwise FiveM will disappear from the market.

I have the same problem, when I start FiveM and join a server the AIO turns up and the temperatures rise to 96 degrees. CPU usage goes up to 50% from 20%. The CPU is not permanently at this high temperature, but it goes up several times a minute. You can also hear the fans suddenly accelerate completely. Then after a few seconds it stops and starts again. The problem only exists with FiveM in no other game (I have it on every Fivem RP server).

When I put the process into efficiency mode in the task manager it stops, but the game is unplayable (absolutely laggs)ā€¦

The problem has existed since the update in December, the problems started with the installation. The update now hasnā€™t fixed the problem.

Weā€™ve tried everything and havenā€™t been able to find a solution yet.

I hope that a solution is found here or a fix is ā€‹ā€‹provided.

i have same problem, sometimes i change the fivem version and it will work, but itā€™s very rare , fivem made me spend 250$ on new cpu and the problem is not mine ā€¦

cpu always 100% after 10 mins of game .

still have the problem, i restart the computer and change fivem versions sometimes it works. when it uses 100% cpu i notice in f8 log it using added cache entrys which only occures when the cpu is bugged ( 100%)

If youā€™re having the issue that please follow previous advice and provide an ETW trace.

There was an attempted fix since the last ETW trace, hence why Iā€™m asking for a new one :slight_smile:

Ryzen 7 5800x3d 32gb 3600 cl16 ram sam issue basically stays pegged out at 100 usage idk what happened im new to fivem started playing the end of jan i was orginally aroung 20-30% usage the server i play reset an my game was basically unplayable at which point i realized i was at 100 percent cpu usage which ive never saw woth this cpu in any title or application
